- What's up with all this amber?
No link this time. Provided you don't already know, you can google it for yourself this time... ;-)

- The Messerschmitt Me 262 was the first jet-powered airplane that got mass-produced.
Using it to spy on a sailboat is quite overkill, thoughl...

- We'll take a short break before the grand finale of this chapter begins. But there will be a regular update nevertheless... ;-)

Yep!
(I guess it will surprise absolutely nobody that Eisenthal will turn out to be the "end boss" for this chapter...)

A schooner against the first true “fast mover”?! Total overkill imho, even with anti aircraft assets Camilla wouldn’t have a snowball’s chance in hell.

Luckily for Camilla, the plane functions only as a scout here, locating and tracking the ship's position.
(Full disclaimer: I have no idea how loud or silent the engines of this thing were. The idea is that it is flying far away enough from the ship that it doesn't immediately draw attention to itself.)

But you are right in the assumption that what will ensue soon will be a rather unfairly lopsided engagement...

Yeah, you don't have to deal with the Nazis. They know where they have to go.

Unfortunately, "not dealing with the Nazis anymore" was a thing far easier said than done during WWII...

Yep, they're still around.

Ahh, so that's where it all went!

Yep, Camilla has it!!

(Or at least she had it in 1944. But she may still know something about its present day whereabouts...)

I have to say the story to this chapter has been incredibly well thought out. It's been very interesting to see the fictional characters interact with real life characters from the time period, and the references to and inclusions of real historical locations, items, and events have been done very well. You've masterfully woven all of these things into a great chapter!

Wow, thank you for the kind words!! :-D

The chapter-based structure of my comic allows me to dabble a bit in different genres once in a while, and this one is kinda my attempt at one of my favorite ones: Historical fiction.
