When you first showed us the robot, I was going to say something about the Three Laws. I decided to see where you went instead. :)

Also, it's always fun to see Sinistra and Dexter!

No robot story without at least an allusion to the Three Laws! It's the... law. (*bada-dish*) :-D

It's also fun for me to write and draw S & D!

Ahahaha! That line in panel 3 really cracked me up for some reason. Heh, I am really enjoying this robot. Despite, you know, all the evil.

Robots are fun! (Even the evil ones. Especially the evil ones.)

Taking a Turkish-German dude's coffee? That's just mean!

That robot is racist!

(Yeah OK, he's rather anti-organic-being-ist in general. Humans of all ethnicities are equally squash-able for him.)

And Tarik didn't know about the three laws... uh-oh!

Not exactly the best precondition for building a robot...

Strange I've missed that Kottan reference before. "Kein Kaffee für den Präsidenten..."

I have to admit that such a reference was definitely unintentional...
(But feel free to apply the "Death to the Author" principle!)

Also, after a bit of research, I think I found what you're referring to...

Yes, the police president trying to get coffee from the automate (rather automaton, as the machine spoke, laughed, kicked and punched, too) was one of the running gags. Including his attempts to destroy it, too.
