Tarik tries, but he is far from being a master detective yet! ;-)
Ytterbium tried this out once before - but now this seems to work significantly better!
But don't worry, we'll find out soon what it actually is that she is trying to accomplish here... (Spoiler: It's nothing good!)
I guess Sören would at least have had a tiny chance to disarm or to impal- uh, I mean to incapacitate Ytterbium before she has the opportunity to pull the trigger...
As of yet, it's all according to Ytterbium's plan - with the emphasis on "as of yet!!!" ;-)
And I find it intriguing that so many of you are commenting on the harpoon thing - sometimes it's something rather unexpected (by the author) that catches the readers' attention!
But wait, what fiendish plot is this!?

(Aside from recognizing the obvious parallel of the plot taking place under water.)
And that harpoon thing. Golden :)

(Also, it kinda ironic considering that earlier I established him to be a total Sherlock Holmes fanboy...)
Maybe one day I'll actually do a "Tarik tries his hand at being a detective" chapter...
