Camilla's origin story!
I originally imagined Camilla as being from the Caribbean - but then I got the idea to connect her to Atlantis. ;-)

The panels 2 to 4 take place in Antiquity, thus as stereotypical background music I recommend something melancholic with a One Woman Wail ;-) Like e.g. this piece here, because the scene this is from is thematically somewhat similar. (I hope it is clear what is going on in the panels 3 and above all 4?)

Wow... epic backstory. I can't help but think of this for panels 3 and 4.

Camilla is quickly becoming my favorite that isn't a member of the Gernsbeck team. :)

That last panel. Out with the old, in with the new! Take that ya Blackbeard lookin' fool! Camilla doesn't even need a plank.

I originally intended for Camilla's hand to make some kind of pushing or even flinging movement, but now it looks as if she is sarcastically waving him good bye - works either way! :-D

The wave is exactly what I saw, and it's perfect.

What a story D: Interesting how being a pirate worked for her... so she just stuck with it!

Awww! ... Hmpf. I'd be tempted to turn pirate if everyone died on me, too.

I guess if everyone else is like a mayfly to you, you eventually turn rather indifferent regarding other people's well-being...

Yeah. :( The feeling of indifference might come and go, I think, but it would be awful. I rather admire Camilla for keeping her spirits up, lol!
