I guess that's what you call "properly paranoid"...

The security personnel at Timmy's ToyCo is directly employed by the company. (This lessens the risk of having to rely on someone who may turn out to be completely incompetent. Or even caught up in an outright war against a rival company.) That's why they are wearing uniforms in the company colors. They are all about corporate identity at Timmy's.

If you are assuming that they might have an equivalent to the Boogeyman somewhere - may well be, who knows what crazy and highly dangerous stuff they have deep in the bowels of their facility? But that won't be the direction this story is heading to right now...

Aaaand I've made my way through the whole archives!! Great comic, Fabian - I should have gotten on board sooner! :) I love all the references to paranormal and fringe stuff, it's like finding little Easter eggs all over the place. I'm excited to continue following the story!!

I laughed out loud at Tarik's thought bubble in the last panel. There are times in this comic when the humor is just so ridiculous (and I mean that in a good way!) that I can't help cracking up. The guy who actually unknowingly has an assassin after him is the one who thinks how glad he is to not have assassins after him! :D

As of writing this, I unfortunately didn't have yet the opportunity to bring this "assassin vs. Tarik" plot thread to a conclusion...
