If Strontium is Caesar and Wildebees is Brutus - then Niobe is Caesar's wife Calpurnia, who allegedly had worrying premonitions on the day of his assassination. (Too bad she wasn't there when the assignation happened...)

BTW: For the last Christmas Crossover Exchange, Cartoonist_at_Large (alias Jon Kay,), the author of Cosmos, did a wonderful 5-part Cosmos/Cryptida crossover piece.
He is now re-running it over at his comic, this time in glorious full color, starting here!

Gee, Major... nobody in a uniform gets to unironically shout that phrase unless they’re fragging their chain of command!

Also, loudly announcing your short range melee attack while you are still far away, instead of silently sneaking up in order to come as close as possible without anyone noticing you? Tsk, tsk... The Major really should have known better! I guess she just couldn't resist... ;-)

This poor lady! Imagine how confusing it would be to get kicked in the shin and then open your eyes and BE ON THE CEILING. She's the unsung tragic hero of this comic.

It's like suddenly being thrown into that one M. C. Escher drawing!

Looks like the Major lost her edge...

Hur hur hur.

And just like Will Smith, her life got flipped-turned upside down...

And if it was a Marine, it'd be "Semper Fi Motherf***er"... with the last word XD

Back when Wildebees fought in the Ostrich War, she indeed was the member of an actual army (as opposed to being just some guard employed by a toy company). (She was not an US Marine, though.)
