What looks like a polygon mesh was actually hand-drawn by me over the picture of the car! (With the aid of the "curve snap" tool, which I am almost always using though.)
For completely non-webcomic related stuff I have been creating actual polygon meshes for last few months, so I guess I developed an eye for how it should look like...
Then I got it to glow by putting this, plus another layer with a bit of airbrush applied in the same color, on top of the layer that darkens the rest of the picture.
And for the distortion in the last panel, I used the "Mesh Transform" tool (in FireAlpaca).
A hologram with a 100% all quad retopo looping! That's a dedicated VR 3D modeler ^^ (okay, I see a tri here and there, but it still can be considered all quad)
Around the time it drew this, I actually attended a course in 3D-modellling myself! Thus I was able to recreate in 2D how such a mesh is more or less supposed to look like...
(No, this chapter won't be about ghosts.)
How did you get the hologram effect?!

But now I wonder how Camilla might react if someone told her that something she does is "cute"... ;-)
