- Cleo's pirate obsession first came up here, which developed after her meeting Camilla for the first time.
(Tarik's worries regarding those two being friends are not completely unfounded, though...)

- Tarik went with Cleo to a comic convention - first evidence of a page for an Holiday Crossover Exchange being canon? ;-)

- Kanny's acting skills could be observed way back here.

- The calendar in the background shows a pinup of none other than Mirabell! (As drawn by Chippewa Ghost - see here the picture in its full glory.)
I wonder how she got persuaded to pose for this... Was this for charity? Or did she lose a bet?

I forget Cleo's origins, but moving kids around starts getting more and more difficult as they get older... it's like transplanting a tree.

Cleo is the daughter of Tarik's sister Ceylan and a guy named Cornelius Collins Junior, who in turn is a distant relative of Chase Collins from POW! Right in the Nostalgia. (That's because I originally created all of them for MST3KFan's Vacation Aggravation storyline.)
This means that her father might probably be American - which could perhaps imply even a transcontinental transplantation here!

I was gonna say, I remember that time Tarik went to a convention! :D

Unfortunately, all those increasingly weird encounters Tarik keeps having with the ladies in these crossover exchanges are much harder to reconcile with Cryptida's main canon. :-D

It'd be some real bad luck if the first thing they do is a pirate play...

"So, kids! What play do you want to do? Don't worry, I am sure we'll find one that everyone will agree with. I have pre-selected a wide variety of works you can choose from: The Pirates of Penzance, Peter Pan, Treasure Island..."
