OK, I am starting a little experiment here...

The short Christmas intermezzo that is about to follow has spawn from a conversation in the comment section of this Childhood End page, wherein the idea of a Christmas Carol parody featuring the ToyCo-associated characters cropped up.

The iteration that is about to unfold now is far less ambitious than what I initially envisioned for this, though. (Or more, that depends how you view it...)
I cut out many elements of the Christmas Carol's original plot - the only major part left is the division into sections showcasing the past, present and future.
This year, I'll show you the past.
Present and future will follow Christmas 2019 and 2020 respectively.
Well... At least that's the plan.
Let's see if I can pull this off.

I think the following pages should be by and large understandable without having read Childhood's End, the spinoff comic about Timmy's ToyCo - but the context provided by Childhood's End certainly enhances the experience.

And one last remark: If you want to read other adaptions of Charles Dickens' story that are also hosted here at ComicFury right now, you may want to check out Leafa's The Reclamation of Timothy Cratchit, as well as the collab intro comic for this year's Christmas Crossover Exchange! (In the latter, I myself am amongst those who provided a small contribution, while JammyTheBirb is the overall "master of ceremonies" for this.)
Furthermore, you can also re-read my previous attempts at tackling (or merely referencing) this material.

Well, and without further ado, enjoy!

The Santa hat is a good look for the ToyCo mascot! Looking forward to this!

ToyCo and Santa iconography, this seems almost like a natural fit, given that for toy companies Christmas certainly the most important time of the year...

(And I am certainly glad that you are looking forward to this!
I hope though that the fact that you in particular already know many "spoilers" for the following pages due to our correspondence doesn't diminish your reading experience all too much...)

Yes, yes. Onward, please!

(BTW, I also have a part in the collab comic, or rather, a certain intrepid reporter does. I even got to add a little joke to the scene...)

Seriously, though, I can't wait to see what you've got here. :)

What's about to come should be right up your alley, because judging from your 30 Days stuff, you too are a big fan of "six degrees of separation" style world building... ;-)

(Also, now I am eager to see what role everyone's favorite reporter woman will play in the collab...)
