(It did fit so well, that was one reason why I couldn't pass that opportunity...)
Anyway, here are Bettina's and Timmy III's parents: Timmy II and his wife Hyacinthia!
The orange glow is supposed to come from a nearby fireplace.
But on the other hand, it could also indicate that these are Bettina's overly idealized childhood memories.
I was going for a full-on Christmas atmosphere kinda like this here.

Changed that. That's indeed a nuance of the English language that I wasn't aware of. Thanks for the correction!
It seems what went wrong here is that one German translation for "chimney" ("Kamin") is indeed often used to describe the fireplace too.
(Given the Timmys' nonchalance when it comes to the safety of their toys, them just calmly keeping on with celebrating Christmas while their house burns is a hilarious thought, though...)

Yes, old money, that is exactly what I was thinking!
And I would indeed not put it past Timmy II to marry into AB's established high society just for "political" reasons...
Now, do you have a maiden name for Hyacinthia? Perhaps we shall discuss a bit? :)
(There are a few families she might fit into if you don't already have a name for her.)
(Like it was already said above, she is quite probably "old money". The kind of family that sends their daughters to debutante balls.)
