That's the cover of her album on the wall.
(Its title is a reference to where this drawing of her first appeared.)

I'm having a lot of fun imagining Bos as a confused, but polite customer who's only problem is that he can't speak enough English/German to find the furniture he wants.

"Pardon me, ma'am, where's the Billy bookshelves? Oh, you're running, I... I get that a lot. Have a nice day, then."

Let's just say... that I wouldn't be very surprised if something in this direction is kinda what's going on here... ;-)

Emily's really cute, I like her already!

Nice to hear that you like her! As one can tell from her "30 Days" debut, I have been waiting for an opportunity to put her in the comic for two years!

Any chance that she is an unknown descendant of that legendary Erickson that is one of the gods of rock history?

Considering that I had to google who that is (I know, my knowledge gaps concerning rock history are appalling) - no, that connection was not planned at least.

I am not sure if her style of music would at all fall within your taste anyway. Emily is supposed to be a parody a specific type of contemporary female musicians. Her stereotypically Scandinavian surname for example is supposed to hint at Marit Larsen, who is from Norway.

I see it is obvious that she can't be a descendant of an important music legend as she just joined the eurovision.

A... questionable career move. ;-)

No real musician with any honor left would be seen dead there.

They may want to try tricking the beast instead of taking it head on.

Yes, that seems to be the smartest approach...

(Next page they'll indeed hatch out a strategy...)

I could see where management might want a minotaur running around to keep the wage-slaves in check, but somehow I think that in this case the effect was unintentional.
Microraptor edit delete reply
Microraptor
The minotaur is indeed not supposed to be in the store - I mean, otherwise Emily wouldn't have felt the need to call the Ghostbusters Scooby Gang Cryptida team...

She doesn't need to be ashamed of that. Adele hit a music shop she worked at and nobody recognized her, even when she became popular XD
Microraptor edit delete reply
Microraptor
Does that mean that Adele may have even actually sold people her own music?
("Weird, the store clerk looks just like the woman on that CD cover...")
