I'm having a lot of fun imagining Bos as a confused, but polite customer who's only problem is that he can't speak enough English/German to find the furniture he wants.
"Pardon me, ma'am, where's the Billy bookshelves? Oh, you're running, I... I get that a lot. Have a nice day, then."
Nice to hear that you like her! As one can tell from her "30 Days" debut, I have been waiting for an opportunity to put her in the comic for two years!
Considering that I had to google who that is (I know, my knowledge gaps concerning rock history are appalling) - no, that connection was not planned at least.
I am not sure if her style of music would at all fall within your taste anyway. Emily is supposed to be a parody a specific type of contemporary female musicians. Her stereotypically Scandinavian surname for example is supposed to hint at Marit Larsen, who is from Norway.
I could see where management might want a minotaur running around to keep the wage-slaves in check, but somehow I think that in this case the effect was unintentional.
The minotaur is indeed not supposed to be in the store - I mean, otherwise Emily wouldn't have felt the need to call the GhostbustersScooby GangCryptida team...

(Next page they'll indeed hatch out a strategy...)
GhostbustersScooby GangCryptida team...("Weird, the store clerk looks just like the woman on that CD cover...")
