This panel is the sole reason why Peter had that specific coat! (Until it got damaged by the Beast of Gévaudan, that is.) ;-)
Also, the Wadden Sea shouldn't have so many rocks sticking out of the mud - a little bit of artistic license in order to make this allusion work better.
