- This means, yes, this scene is taking place in the Autumn Bay. The Silver Fork first appeared in this page of... well, Autumn Bay.
- Detective Paige Logan has already cameoed in my comic once. Back then, Bettina Timmy was her prime suspect concerning the infamous murder of her brother.
And now it seems that Detective Logan is still doubting her innocence, which is why she is doing this "I'll be watching you"-gesture with her hand...
- Madeleine Waite, the CEO of Horizon Dynamic Systems, first appeared as one of Prof's "30 Days" characters. We learned about HDS and Timmy's ToyCo having business connections back in Childhood's End, and we also already have seen satellite pictures which ToyCo was able to create due to HDS space tech.
- It seems whenever I have no idea what to put on the wall of a gastronomic location, I resort to... pictures with food on it!
In this case, it's a bottle of Pont de la Mort wine, which could first be glimpsed back here.
- Also, you'd think that by now Bettina should be used to people showing her shocking stuff pulled out of manila folders... ;-)

This restaurant scene will continue for two more pages before we come to the story proper, so there'll be a few more contextual cross-points added...
But it is kinda neat that regardless there will still be people grinding out work in his settings, with his characters.
I wanted to do a space chapter with a certain Cryptida character for quite some time, but I couldn't figure out how to set up that scenario. But then the ToyCo-HDS connection emerged, and now I had my potential gateway to this story!
And so, back in mid-June, I "pitched" this chapter's premise to Prof, and he gave me some additional info. (I got the names "Orbital One" and "Chapel Aerospace" from him.)
