ProfEtheric pretty much gave me carte blanche concerning the place where launch and mission control in this story will happen. So, here we are...

This facility is supposed to be near Tampa, Florida - which coincidentally is also the place where the journey to the moon started from in Jules Verne's From the Earth to the Moon. In this novel, Impey Barbicane was the president of the Baltimore Gun Club.
(NASA's Kennedy Space Center from real life is on Merritt Island, which is on the other side of the Florida peninsula.)

I tried to draw Julius Baltimore in a way that he comes off a bit like 90s era Steven Spielberg...

Lastly, I have discovered that the Chapel Enterprise International logo is just ideal for Sigil Spam! ^^

Yes, I am aware of that. (Though when I drew this, I was under the impression that they have moved away from Florida, until Prof pointed out that they are still living there.) I even pondered mentioning that in the annotation.
