Xenon/Candy has some very useful software with her, originating from the Maerc Technology Cooperation.
How did she get this? By stealing? Or buying? Is she (or her current client) even in cahoots with Elliott Maerc??

Of course the villain themed after a light-fueling gas has "Let There Be Light" in there decryption software.

It is nice that the "puzzle pieces" ended up fitting together so well, but my starting point here was actually the lightbulb symbolism that's going on with lirvilas' character Elliot Maerc (whose company this decryption software is supposed to originate from). Notice how the "progress bar" is lightbulb-shaped.
(Also, I figured Maerc may easily have a god-complex, so this quote may nevertheless fit, in spite of his weird religious affiliations.)

That being said, I think I missed the opportunity to give the luminous parts of Xenon's suit the distinctive blue of actual xenon light, instead of red...

It’s a recurring theme with respect to Maerc... he is the morning star.

He's Vegan meat replacement?

@ Jeremy7: He, had to google that...

It would be quite ironic if eating animals is where he draws the line regarding his personal ethics...

@ lirvilas: I guess then that does make biblical quotes twisted into a nefarious context appropriate for him after all...

Just wanted to say I absolutely love how one little lightbulb symbol can be the latest twisted interplay of THREE comics... gets me psyched to put Maerc back onscreen myself.

Probably need to plan for Armstrong’s appearance late in Flyover Country...

It delights me to hear that you enjoy this so much! :-D

(But uh... with the third comic I presume you mean Autumn Bay, right?
Because maybe I am a bit too literal-minded, but I am not aware of lightbulbs having appeared there yet in a prominent manner. There is the "Morningstar"-connection of course, and also Maerc's chosen religion of Starry Wisdom played a prominent role there - but their symbol is rather that weird eye.
Or are you simply referring to the AB-crossover nature this chapter had from the beginning?)

Edit, ref. Armstrong in Flyover Country: Definitely an interesting possibility! I wonder how this chapter and FC are standing in relation to each other on the timeline...
