Not sure if the augmented reality function of the goggles could mean that they have any connection to a certain ToyCo product. I just threw that in as an afterthought...

Though regarding the life sciences lab in this page, I couldn't resist the opportunity to go a bit into "write/draw what you know" mode here.
(Yes, I am aware that zero-G would probably render some of the things you usually do in such a lab a bit tricky to do...)

What Babette is talking about here is that we shouldn't expect alien lifeforms to automatically have a biochemistry similar to that of Earth creatures.
This could for example mean that their nucleic acids (DNA, RNA) are in some way different from ours - or even that they don't have any at all!

Wildebees (who may find Babette's little lecture a bit confusing) is casually upside down here, because you can do that in space.

(And no, as far as I am aware, in real life we don't have any info about trilobite DNA. The best one could do via DNA-analysis here would therefore be just showing a relationship to arthropods in general.)

Show me where you're going with this, Babette.

Oh, we'll learn all about the space trilobites (and about certain other things) in the next two pages...

I like the way you are playing around with the zero gravity in all these pages.

Thank you very much!
It was nice playing around with the "there is no real up & down" concept!
