As Halloween draws closer, this story gets a bit spookier too...
(What do you mean, you never heard "twup" as the sound effect for the light suddenly going out?)

Anaerobic bio-corrosion is a real thing. (Though it's rather bacteria that do this. And I omitted that you also need hydrogen ions for this, and that the sulfate should likewise be in ionized form.)
And barium sulfate used in white paint is a real thing too.

The bargain on this paint was an offer that Chapel Aerospace just couldn't resist - unfortunately without considering that it may actually be a bait...

Oh, and the lights going out now? As we'll soon see, that's probably not a coincidental tech failure. ;-)
