But seriously, I recommend taking a look at messing with their posture, proportions, and mannerisms. I think the old saw about being able to tell your characters apart even when they're in profile would apply here.

For some of my characters I have relatively clear images in my head, but unfortunately that doesn't mean that I always manage to get this across adequately in the drawings.
(Here for example, I am a bit dissatisfied in how Ytterbium turned out.)
However, it's rather Mira who is veering dangerously close to being one, with her misguided choice of targets for her vigilantism, and her penchantto badmouth her friends' friends...
And to dismiss blondes arbitrarily is not prudent.
