And yes, he indeed coincidentally gave the bird the same name as his (at that point yet unborn) great-granddaughter.

Oh, I guess whatever could be described as the software in there is way easier to fit into an upscaled body than further miniaturizing it.

(Also, I don't know if Janet Brigham is aware of Auguste Lois and his writings, but I bet she could relate very well to his ponderings about the "for better or worse" potential of autonomous AIs...
