If you don't already know whom Kanny is seeing there, it's probably easy to guess...

Jay042's currently ongoing Cryptida story Return to Atlantis* is also on ComicFury now!
It is supposed to eventually intertwine with his current Kaza's Mate Gwenna story Three Days from Kokotomo.
(I don't know yet how exactly that will play out exactly, but in any case it's an interesting experminent in story-telling!)

On Jay042's DeviantArt page, you can have (via suggestions in the comments and polls) direct influence on the Kaza's Mate Gwenna side of the story.
Also, characters from Jay042's old story Mother is Visiting are appearing, so reading that one beforehand can't hurt either!
* BTW, within the in-universe timeline, this story is supposed to happen at roughly the same time as the Cryptida Chapter 15. In fact, the second expedition to Atlantis gets a brief mention here!
oh, roger, for some reason I'd thought Scientology was not allowed in Germany... then yes, Starry Wisdom is probably in that same category. However, I think they'd probably come across as less malicious than Hubbard's nerds.
"Es aßen die alten Germanen zu beiden Ufer des Rheins, sie saßen auf Bärenhäuten und...auf zum Rhein, zum deutschen Reim, wird ja nicht der letzte sein."
But honestly darling, I would really like to see good old Moondog here instead, as he said "The Rhine... a magic river in a magic country."
And it's quite likely that Sören might have met old Moondog. Here's an authentic pic of him in Hamburg 1974... (No, he wasn't yet-another-cosplayer born before his time... He really did live his norse-norse dream.)Moondog in Hamburg
One of my sidecharacters is based on Moondog (here.)
Strangely enough, a comic that really influenced my own comic style was "Moondog" by George Metzgner, that I read as reprint as a child. It is a reference to the composer only by name, not the character (although he is blind, too.) But, at least the comic Moondog was the very first true steampunk comic, set in a post-apocalyptic world. (Even if the term didn't exist in 1969!)
That's quite the contrast in Panel 2 with the modern hotel across from the medieval castle, but people need a place to stay when they come to see the sights...or whatever nefarious things they may be up to...
Both the castle and the hotel will eventually play into the plot.
And "nefarious things" being involved is quite a good guess...
But also "seeing the sights" - in a way... ;-)
However, their legal status as a religion is in dispute, and they are under surveillance by our domestic intelligence service.
*makes mental notes*

Also, the stylistic influence of the Moondog comic on your work is quite apparent!
