Maybe you remember Babette's team from her university in France, as seen way back here.

The sister Isabelle is talking about (Isette) appeared way more recently, cameoing here in Playground.
Both have the power to see the future, but Isette is way more unashamed when it comes to using them for gambling.

And speaking of family ties, it seems Babette has an idealistic attitude regarding the usage of technology for peaceful purposes, which is similar to her great-grandfather's...

That kind of "scientific research" seems more like Maggie Ashton's thing...

(Babette's more, uh... prudish attitude will in fact become evident a bit later on...)

Speaking of the trade-show, here is a very early stage of a sketch, showing Peter at the tradeshow while he realizes that Fred Astaire is an overrated clumsy amateur compared to his own dancing skills.
