The very first Autumn Bayan we actually meet in this adventure is none other than the intrepid reporter Felicia Kingsley, here interviewing the artist Jouko Jousimies.
And she doesn't seem to be particularly happy about that, probably thinking that her time would be better spent investigating something more important, like another Fortean event or a government conspiracy. (If only she knew what Jouko is doing as his side job!)

The "Uncle" who is so rudely interrupting Tiny, just when she was about to blab something interesting, is industrialist Joseph Drake Senior.
Although a character by ProfEtheric and SarahSophia, within comics proper he so far only appeared in Childhood's End, here at Cryptida, and most prominently in Playground.

Likewise last seen in Playground was the assassin Candy Armstrong alias Xenon.
Emily is right though, this is a nice hat. I wonder what compelled Xenon to choose that one...?

Lena-darling, why did you never tell me before that you are colorblind? Red shoes, purple gloves, blue dress, and that mixed with a white ribbon and your yellow hair - that textile discounter clerk really played a cruel-cruel joke on you- parrot-circus-overload. Pffft, but there's no excuse for that very-very unfortunate design of the dress. Some things should be kept where they are never-never seen. I hope you don't mind if I tell the truth, spank me. I wont charge you for the fashion advice this time, it was a pleasure, darling!

At least Bettina Timmy is as point on in her color coordination as ever.
(She basically looks like the personification of her own company's corporate branding!)

Xenon/Candy Armstrong meanwhile can never decide if she should go with the striking black/red color scheme, or simply dress in blue...

And Emily somehow managed to find an evening gown version of her usual dress. (Nice flower though!)

Likewise, Felicia Kingsley found a gown that just happens to be in the same color as her iconic hat & coat ensemble.

And coming to one of the men in this picture, Jouko Jousimies refuses to wear anything else than his white turtlenecks, because he is an artist.

It's the classic "artist staring very seriously into the distance" approach.
(And of course in black & white!)

No wonder that Felicia doesn't enjoy at all interviewing this man...

You know this answer only causes the little cogs in my brain to turn in an attempt to entangle that riddle, right??
