Seems like Xenon has spotted someone who she knows from her past!
("When I left you, I was but the learner...")
"Imker" means "beekeeper" in German, BTW.

Xenon's "incident with her eye" happened here in Playground, and in-universe it was over a year ago.
And it solves the problem regarding her looking way too similar to Dr. Ytterbium...
So, the "person who did this to her" - it seems obvious that they're talking about Selene Wildebees. Right...?

Not very subtle with the supervillain theming there.
I mean, a bionic eye is one thing, but she's flaunting the element she takes her secret identity from on both her cape and her hat.

Plus, he openly calls her Xenon in an art gallery full of people!

"Shushushushush!! Call me Candy, for Chrissake!"

"the person who did this to you"

I suspect that the eye thing has put more names than merely Selene Wildebees on Xenon's murder list

Xenon is not stupid, she realizes that a certain tycoon with ties to African warlords may have exploited her eye-related predicament by turning her into a guinea pig and maybe even into something more sinister.
(The fact that he's her client complicates matters of course. After all, she doesn't want to just throw away her reputation as a reliable contractor. But nevertheless, this may have put a dent in their good work relationship.)
