It seems that the deal Imker has with Augustus Alexander includes a small squad of Aegis goons, plus access to his facilities for a mission briefing.
(Wherein Gus himself is not present - but I wouldn't be surprised if he nevertheless does have the means to find out about everything that happens within the walls of his company's HQ...)
Also, this has got to be the reoccurrence of the most obscure LIR-verse character ever!
Aegis employee Mr. Sim (together with his workmate Mr. Gerhard, who is the guy sitting next to him) so far got only mentioned in passing once!
(And before someone points this out: Yes, one of the mermaids Imker met wasn't actually a mermaid - but he doesn't know that.)
