Lora got from the mermaids' realm to the United States somehow, so I guess that answers the question regarding her ability for intentional travel...?

I could actually see Lora working at the Haute Coffee... if she were very very veeery desperate...

However, she would categorically refuse to work at Starbucks, because she considers their logo to be cultural appropriation!
