Happy Halloween everyone!

My initial idea for this creature was a giant frogfish, or perhaps a moray eel...
(Cue Lora asking: "Shouldn't you be in salt water?")
But then I thought: Nope, triops!

As you may already know, Lora is supposed to be a member of the Sisterhood, a group of mermaids that appeared in a Kaza's Mate Gwenna chapter that crossed over with Cryptida...
And just recently, a second KMG crossover-chapter has just begun!

Huge Triops! Must be all those chemicals the golf course is using running off into the water.

Makes one wonder what kind of fertilizer they use to render the grass so super perfect...

how about saying..
"Do you play golf, darling?"

Well, it lives right in the middle of a golf course, so that assumption is not even all too far fetched...

(Though this won't be her exact words, but Lora will try to be nice at first!)

Some sort of prehistoric bug like a trilobite

Oh, I actually had trilobite-based cryptids earlier in the comic!

(This creature here is a crustacean called a triops though - just much larger than in real life!)

"I want surf 'n' turf!"

Had to look that one up.
(But strangely, both words taken literally kinda fit too!)

There! Now I'm all caught up with the binge-read!
Fantastic stuff all the way through!

I peeked at the link you provided to see what a triops was.
(I'd figured the etymology right, at least!)
My first thought was "uh-oh! it's the King or Queen of the space trilobytes!"

I can't wait to see where this story goes!

Interesting - you're the already the second commenter who makes the trilobite association!

Also, thank you for reading so far, and I'm happy to have you onboard for the continuation of the ride!! :-)
