Just like Okeris himself, the plot point of Kanny reviving Anutrofho to counter him has been in my mind a looooong time!
So it's a bit of a milestone for me to finally get to this point! If one considers the Atlantis storyline (in which Anutrofho gets resurrected the first time) as the end of "Season 1" of Cryptida, this chapter right here would be the finale of "Season 2".
The fascinating thing is how this chapter turned out to be a mix of the old and the new:
Many of the details (e.g. all the newly introduced characters aside from Okeris) weren't yet in the picture at all when I first came up with the rough plot!

To be honest, the characters having bad ideas fuels about 90 % of the plot in our comics...

I get it, let 2 powerful adversaries slug each other out then you deal with the winner who's already weakened

While it's actually more about distracting one demon with the other one in order to have more time to think up a better plan, the side effect of having them weakening each other certainly can't hurt either!

It was back here when the thought first crossed my mind that the interactions between Emily, Bos and Dolon might have gotten a bit... steamy at some point while they were working together....
Notice how she seems to grab their buttocks in that picture on the wall? ;-D
