Seems like Karin has self-esteem issues, due to being "just a copy" of somebody else...
And choosing Ethel of all people as her idol may be a bit... eccentric.
Next page however Karin will state another important reason for her choice besides the one already mentioned here.
*Why* is Karin running around in (what appears to be) a bathing suit or lingerie? This ain’t a bikini coffee shop!
Or did I miss the memo? Maybe this is one of those cool sophisticated European things: “we’re not chained down by your puritan cultural values” “we refuse to participate in the madonna/whore dichotomy that has captured you Americans” etc.
Oh, there's actually an explanation for that:
It's what Ethelis wearing while behind the counter of the Egg-Imbiss, thus this establishment's "uniform".
That being said though, once Karin gets out of there, she'll wear something more, ahem... reasonable.
But I won't say yet which prediction was the correct one... ;-)
and Karin needs to go watch The Clone Wars
those guys do a helluvalot better than the fool they're based off of
1. Who Ethel thinks is really cool.
2. What kind of TV show Dr. Morag gave Karin to watch.
It sure as heck wasn't something that might endorse clone empowerment!
