π was built in the late 70s by the US Air Force in West Berlin, and later got transferred to Bimsstein Airbase.
Since it's a very old computer though, nowadays it doesn't get used anymore.
However, this doesn't mean that it's... completely inactive...

Announcement:
I'll do just bi-weekly updates for a while.
(Maybe for the whole of August, maybe not quite so long.)
I visited a facility in the late 1970s that had a robotic tape archiving system which could hold terabytes of data, but the read/write speed of the tapes limited the throughput rather than the fetch/mount/unmount/store cycle time.
Nowadays five terabytes can fit in a shirt pocket and reads and writes at USB3 speeds.
I first came up with this (not at all fleshed out yet) category system in the context of a scene idea that currently only exists in my head, in which the time-traveling Future!Cleo mentions Donna Panks to be a category A3 person...
I know what it's like to have a myriad of concepts swim around in One's head for years and years without coming to fruition... only to, one day, all spill out onto a page without warning!
I've had some of my best (and very worst0 ideas for comics that way!
