Today a little Halloween intermezzo. Next week, we'll continue with the last few pages of the ongoing story.

This comic is based upon a German children's song about an entity called the Butzemann. (Of whom Wikipedia tells me that the bogeyman is the closest equivalent in English.) Peter's dialogue is a close translation of the first two verses.

Weirdly, I am not the only one at ComicFury who featured a bogeyman with a close connection to a song...
(Why the heck are there so many songs about boogeymen??)

Don't know as well. People has a thing for Boogeymen (the last version I remember now is John Wick as Baba Yaga).
(Ha! I read this page on Beach Blonde Valkyries. I thought that guy was black, but he had only darker skin.).

Hm...He's not got enough hair to be a boogy man from Canned Heat, and he doesn't have enough funk to be from KC and Sunshine band XD

I think back then I didn't even know about this bogeyman!
(Who also appeared in Childhood's End, and thus would definitely likewise be canon in the Cryptida-verse!)
